CHOCTAW COUNTY, Okla. -- Fort Towson, Oklahoma, residents are under a precautionary boil advisory. Officials say a broken there is a broken water main, posing the potential for contamination as a result.

The drinking water supplied by Fort Towson water system may be unsafe for human consumption. If you use the water, bring it to a full rolling boil for one minute first.

The advisory is in effect until further notice. For questions contact the city hall.
