No Deaths in Toronto Plane Crash

8-2-05 - There were 309 people aboard Air France Flight 358 -- and all of them have survived a fiery crash in Toronto.

The Airbus jet skidded off the runway while trying to land in a
strong storm, plunging into a ravine and breaking into pieces. The
plane burst into flames -- but only after everyone aboard jumped

As many as 43 suffered minor injuries. Some who got out of the plane scrambled up the ravine and onto the adjoining highway, flagging down cars to get help.

Thick black smoke could be seen billowing from the plane as emergency crews shot water at the flames.
