10-19-05 - Kingston police are on alert after a student found a note on a school bus that threatens several high school students. The note specifically said that students would be killed on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Police say the note was found last week, but the principal didn't find out about it until Tueday. The note listed four or five students' names.
Police and school officials cannot agree on whether it is a legitmate threat or just a prank.
The Kingston Superintendent told KXII that a note was not found, and that the incident was just a prank before fall break.
Police say they are taking this threat seriously and will step up security significantly on the high school campus on Wednesday.
