Whitesboro NHS Raises Money for Hurricane Relief

9-7-05 - Friday at the Whitesboro Homecoming Pep Rally and Game, the National Honor Society passed around the helmet for hurricane relief donations.

The generosity of the fans in Whitesboro led to over $1,300 being collected.

Most of the money will go to the Red Cross, and a portion of the funds raised will go directly to the hurricane refuges coming to the Whitesboro community center.

The NHS members wanted to make sure any children in the group have what they need to start school here in Whitesboro.
