Man Admits to String of Oklahoma Burglaries

11-4-05 - Authorities all over Southern Oklahoma are clearing burglaries today thanks to one arrest Wednesday by the Bryan County Sheriff's Department.

They arrested Christopher Harvey, 34, and during his interview he admitted to burglarizing homes and businesses in Durant, Madill, Kingston, Ardmore and Carter County over the past three weeks.

Bryan County deputies finally caught up with Harvey after a Cartwright victim found out where he was staying. Harvey is in the Bryan County Jail charged with several felonies including second degree burglary and possession of stolen property and burglary tools.
