OKLAHOMA – It’s been a busy night of local elections, with several school bond propositions on the ballot in Southern Oklahoma.

We start out in Hugo, where an $11,000,000 school bond fails. Proposition one, which would allow for construction of a new high school and other district improvements was shot down by 63% of voters.

Proposition two, which was $155,000 for buses and transportation also fails with 65% of voters saying no.

A similar bond failed in 2005 and reportedly has never passed in the history of the school district.
