11-8-05 - Get ready for a new look in the center of the Texas Christian University campus.

The school has unveiled plans for a $100 million dollar construction project that includes a new student union.

The project also features renovation of the current student union and four new residential halls to add 1,000 beds.

Vice chancellor Don Mills says one goal is to bring the academic and residential programs together.

"We're going to create an environment where students can reach their highest potential," Mills said Monday.

Also, officials plan a $10.5 renovation for the TCU school of education.

The overall project should be finished by 2008, funded by donations and bonds.
