SHERMAN, Tex. -- An accident in Sherman tied up traffic on U.S. Highway 82. It happened around 3 p.m. when it was pouring rain outside.

Police say an SUV hydroplaned, ran into an 18-wheeler, bounced off the median, and then hit the 18-wheeler again.

Kevin Holliday, 22, of Sherman was the driver of the SUV. Holliday was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

It took more than an hour for traffic to resume to normal speed on the road.

Anonymous, you need to keep your comments to yourself, and this person that posted that at 9:21 I really don't think he/she was talking about you. Everytime it rains people think they can drive the speed limit and not have any problems out on the road but they can and you calling names on here you are probably one that thinks you can drive fast when it rains and not have any problems

You don't have to be going fast for that to happen. Anonymous posted @ 0921 you are the idiot. I'm sure everyone in the Texoma area & elsewhere knows what rain is. Dumb A**
