MARSHALL COUNTY, OK -- Two bridges in Marshall County named as structurally deficient will eventually be rebuilt.
After a recent inspection, ODOT told city officials that the Lee Road Bridge and the Tyler Road Bridge are in need of major repair.
Both the age and narrow size of the bridges contributed to the failed test.
Marshall County commissioner Don Melton says construction on both bridges should begin within the next two years.
Melton says, "I don't think the bridges are going to fall in,truly, right now. but they are getting to the point that they are structurally deficient. And in the next few years they are going to become a real problem if we don't replace them."
Melton says they'll receiving funding from the state for the estimated, million dollar project.
