2 arrested in Gainesville aggravated robbery

GAINESVILLE, TX - Two men accused of robbing a woman leaving a retail store and dragging her through the parking lot are now behind bars.

Gainesville Police say 24-year-old Joseph Baeza and 21-year-old Nathan Morales have been taken into custody weeks after allegedly robbing a woman in the Walmart parking lot in Gainesville.

Investigators say the incident happened September 2nd. Police say a man tried to snatch the woman's purse and got into a stolen vehicle while she was fighting for her bag. They say she was dragged through the parking lot as he was making his getaway. The woman was treated and released at a local hospital.

Baeza was arrested by Tarrant County sheriff's deputies and Morales turned himself in to the Cooke County Sheriff's Office.
