2 arrested on arson warrants in Paris

PARIS, TX - Paris Police say the second of two men wanted for trying to burn down a house last month has turned himself in.

Officer Curtis Garrett tells us 31-year-old Benjamin Bethel turned himself in to police yesterday.

Police say Bethel was an accomplice of 46-year-old James Mark Morgan when the pair tried to set fire to a house in the 500 block of Southeast 13th Street on December 15.

Police arrested Morgan on Wednesday, also on a warrant for arson.
