1 killed after hog causes multi-vehicle accident near Denison Dam

DENISON, TX -- A motorcycle accident early Friday morning near the Denison Dam leaves one man dead.

According to Texas DPS officers, around 2 a.m. 56-year-old Anthony Thomas was heading northbound on Highway 91 just past Dave's Ski and Tackle, when he struck a wild hog and was thrown from his bike into a guardrail.

A passerby in a pick-up stopped to help.

A short time later, an SUV approached the scene, colliding with the motorcycle and sending it into the truck.

Both the Thomas and the driver of the SUV taken to Texoma Medical Center.

Troopers say Thomas died at the hospital.

The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries.
