12-4-05 - CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) - The downward slide in gas prices may be coming to an end.
According to the Lundberg Survey of gas stations, the price of regular unleaded has gone down eleven cents in the past two weeks, averaging two dollars and 13 cents a gallon nationwide.
The survey's Trilby Lundberg says gas prices have dropped 88 cents since peaking three months ago after Hurricane Katrina.
But Lundberg says she expects the next survey to show an upswing. Crude oil prices turned higher in recent days, and demand is rising again.
