12-14-05 - Just after noon, Denison Fire Department got the call and sent three of their trucks to the house. Nothing was inside, so right now no one is sure what caused it. The fire marshal is still investigating.
Firefighters were able to put the flames out fairly quickly although they did take some bumps and bruises along the way.
The injuries to those fire fighters were not serious, and just a few moments later, they were back out on another call.
That house fire just a few hours later on East Heron Street. Firefighters arrived around 1:45 and were able to quickly put out the flames and rescue the homeowner. He was taken to TMC with burns to his foot.
The house is not considered a total loss. The fire marshal is also investigating this one.
