2-5-06 - ADA, Okla. (AP) The Chickasaw Nation is moving forward with plans to build a new 135 million-dollar hospital in Ada.
Tribal spokeswoman Robyn Elliot says the new facility will be approximately 370,000 square feet, nearly three times the size of its current Carl Albert Indian Health Facility.
Current plans call for a two-story, 70-bed hospital with a level-three emergency department, ambulatory care facility, pharmacy, diagnostic imaging center and women's health center.
