2-11-06 – A group of local students are banding together to help a little boy with a rare heart condition. Clayton Pickelsimer was born with a double outlet right ventricle. A condition that causes blood to back up into his heart and brain.
Before his second birthday, Clayton underwent two major surgeries and suffered a stroke. His sister Caylin and some of her friends held a benefit in Healdton Saturday night to raise money for Clayton and other children that suffer with heart conditions.
Children attended a dance at the armory in Healdton. Proceeds will go to the Little Hearts Lifeline at Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
