2-16-06 - A Sherman High School junior was in class Wednesday, but within 24 hours she died a mysterious death in her home. 17-year old Tina Landom-Shaw came home from school Wednesday not feeling well and never woke up Thursday morning.
Tina kissed her parents goodnight around midnight and told them her legs were cramping from arthritis, a medical condition she’s struggled with in the past. She was planning on staying home from school today and when her father went to her room to wake her up for lunch, he found her dead. Friends and classmates say she brought a smile to everyone’s face.
Tina was on the drill team and extremely active in the Colbert Church where her father preaches. The Sherman Police Department is conducting a routine investigation and awaiting results from the medical examiner. Funeral services are still being arranged.
