From poop to posh, when you visit the Frank Buck Zoo in Gainesville you will find someone elses waste is another persons treasure.
Jumping into new territory, a unique apparel made from animal byproducts.
Frank Buck Zoo Educational Coordinator, Casey Harris, teaches, feeds, and even picks up after the animals but it is what she does next that's a little different. Crafting a line of apparel, that believe it or not people are going wild for. Casey Harris says"if people just see you wearing it they think it is just really cool stuff.. and then they ask you what it is."
It's called Zoo Doo Wear, a collection of remains from elk, giraffe, even the quill of a porcupine, all transformed into jewelry.
