2-17-06- Oklahoma’s 20th district officially has a new district attorney. Craig Ladd was sworn in Friday afternoon at the Carter County Court House amongst friends, coworkers, and family.
Governor Brad Henry appointed Ladd to the position last Thursday. Ladd is filling the vacant office left by Mitch Sperry who died suddenly in December.
The 20th judicial district covers Carter, Love, Marshall, Johnston, and Murray Counties. The position is up for election this year.
