Texoma Pups Star In Disney Movie

Dogs led the pack at the box office over the weekend but two of the six Siberian huskies aren't used to the snow. They left their hometown of Woodbine, Texas for the spotlight. Carol Dixon says,"Disney contacted us actually and said they were getting ready to make the movie."
Although the Texoma pups aren't used to the snow, Disney said they have what it takes to be movie stars. Dixon says, "they were looking for a dog that was social that has been around a lot of people so they flew out and met us and went through the dogs and I showed them what we had available."
After auditions, Disney hand picked Howard and Ryan or better known in the movie as Mia and Truman. Five months of braving the cold and training to sled the dogs began their trek to fame.
