Victims of crimes can now keep track of their offenders thanks to a program that's come to another area county.
Known as "Victim Information Notification Everday" or VINE, the Texas program is in half of the state's counties, and now it's arrived in Fannin County too.
From court dates to bond amounts, the information is now at the fingertips of victims. Accessible by phone or computer, all a user has to do is follow the instructions and within minutes they will be alerted by phone if the offender is set free.
Grayson County has had the program for 3 years. They say last month more than 100 people used it.
For more information on the program, call 1-877-TX4-VINE.
