2-27-06 - Police in a Bryan County town are looking for who broke into their city hall and then vandalized the police department. Someone used two bricks to smash a window sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning at the Caney City Hall.
Once they were inside they took a fax machine, a copier, and several boxes of checks. Then the thieves went down the street to the police station and smashed the windshield of a police unit and took the radio out of it and then deflated the tires of it and another unit.
Both of the police units are in the repair shop and police are investigating the vandalisms, but currently do not have any suspects. If you have any information about theses vandalisms, please contact the Caney Police at (580) 889-8842.
