2-27-06 - Chuck and Linda Rayder are one of several families who had a problem with contractors not finishing their homes. Their home, originally built from boxcars has been in the Rayder since the Great Depression.
After three years of incomplete work, some friends are picking up the tools and finishing the Rayder’s dream. The artists behind the home makeover include ranchers and businessmen, all retired from day jobs, but not from serving others. The Parkside Builders have been working nonstop since Saturday in hopes to make the Rayder’s home suitable for move in by this weekend.
The volunteer builders are in need of a little help. They are looking for someone who can install floor tiles to complete the kitchen and bathroom work on the Rayder’s home.
