3-4-06 – Troopers are investigating the cause of a fatal accident in Sherman Saturday morning. Around 6:30 a.m., trucker spotted a sedan upside down in an embankment off Highway 82 near the SPUR 1417 exit.
Troopers believe the accident happened around 6:00 a.m. Troopers say the driver was likely headed west when his car ran off the road and rolled several times.
Seventy seven year old Kenice Black of Gainesville was flown to Wilson N. Jones in Sherman. He was pronounced dead later Saturday morning.
Troopers are looking into why Black’s car went off the roadway.
