As this first round of storms sweep through, flash flooding is possible as we have watches in effect since heavy rainfall is expected. These storms are on the strong side, but severe threat will be more towards later this afternoon into the night as they could become severe out west.
3-6-06 - Grayson County reinstated their burn ban Monday morning after lifting it last week. Fannin and Lamar counties lifted their bans last week, but reinstated theirs on Friday due to the outrageous fires in the past weeks.
The Grayson County Association of Fire Chiefs voted unanimously to ask commissioners to reinstate the ban due to the high volume of fires since the ban was lifted. Every county in Oklahoma is still under a statewide burn ban.
