Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Bust

3-6-06 - A traffic stop lead to a drug arrest in Grayson County on Sunday around midnight. A deputy pulled over a pickup traveling north on Highway 75. When the driver stepped out of the car, something fell from his pocket. They believe it was rock cocaine.

The driver was arrested, but later deputies looked at dashboard video, which showed a passenger throwing the drugs under the vehicle, landing at the driver’s feet.

The driver was released from jail and the passenger was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
