3-30-06 - A day after making an emotional appeal for her sister's freedom, Katie Carroll had little to say now that it's a reality.
Leaving her Maryland apartment with a large suitcase, all she said was "Very good, thank you" when she was asked how it felt to have her twin sister, Jill Carroll, released.
Yesterday, she made an appeal on the Al-Arabiya network in Iraq saying that she'd "been living a nightmare" because she's worried if her sister was "hurt or ill."
Jill Carroll, a freelance reporter for the Christian Science Monitor, was kidnapped nearly three months ago. She was released Thursday, and says she was treated well. Carroll's parents have both been trying to make travel plans to see her for the first time since her release.
