Moussaoui Scolds Witnesses For Crying

4-13-06 - Zacarias Moussaoui says it makes his day to hear witnesses cry about their 9/11 experiences.

On the stand for the second time in his death-penalty trial, the confessed terror sympathizer calls a Navy sailor's anguish at the deaths of two subordinates "disgusting." And Moussaoui says, because the sailor is in the military, she should expect "people at war with her to want to kill her."

On cross-examination, Moussaoui said he's convinced President Bush will set him free, because he saw it in a vision -- just as vivid as his dream of flying a plane into the White House.

Moussaoui also lashed out at his defense team. He said his lawyers should have argued that he be made available for a prisoner swap if Americans are captured overseas.
