4-14-06 - Protecting neighborhoods from flooding in Fannin County, Wednesday ground breaking on a flood control lake. With shovels in hand, several local leaders including Congressman Ralph Hall broke ground on the Caney Creek Site, located off of FM 1752 south of Savoy.
Congressman Hall says this is some of the best money the government has ever spent. The USDA National Resources Conservation Service will construct the 29-acre lake.
