4-20-06 - If you live in Grayson County and you are missing mail, deputies say you could be the victim of a mail thief.
County Judge Tim McGraw says some of his bill statements had been coming back to him saying they had not been paid. He contacted the sheriff’s office to report that some mail of his had been stolen, including some checks. Deputies tracked down a 32-year-old woman suspect Thursday.
They found her and were trying to pull her over when she lead them on a chase. During the chase she was throwing mail out of the car that was later recovered and was not hers.
She is in the Grayson County Jail awainting charges.
