Texoma's top-rated morning show is expanding. First News AM with Lisanne Anderson and Tom Miller will now begin at 5:30am and will feature an additional face as well. Charlie Haldeman assumes co-anchor duties on Monday morning.
Charlie Haldeman comes to KXII having worked in broadcasting since he was a pre-teen. His latest on-air work was as 5pm anchor of KBTX in Bryan, Texas. Charlie also spent 10 years working in radio as an on-air personality and program director. He was recognized by the Texas Department of Public Safety for being the youngest credentialed member of the working media in 1991. Charlie has a wife and young daughter.
Lisanne spent nearly 8 years as co-anchor of the First News at Six and Ten before she made the move to mornings. During that time, she helped KXII win several awards, including Best Newscast, Best Spot News Coverage and Best Anchor Team. Since Lisanne has been anchoring and producing FN AM, the audience has doubled in size.
Tom Miller graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Meteorology. Since February of 1988, Tom has been doing morning and noon weather for KXII-TV. He's also certified by the American Meteorological Association.
The new FN AM begins bright and early - Monday morning at 5:30am.
