Two upper level waves will interact with a warm and very moist air mass to generate thunderstorms through Saturday. Lightning and torrential rainfall that could cause flash flooding are the primary threats...with a secondary threat of damaging winds. Turn around, don't drown!
5-10-06 - Although tornadoes did most of the damage to north Texas, hail stones also rattled parts of Texoma. In some cases, hail as large as baseballs pelted vehicles and even a plane near Lake Texoma.
One viewer sent in a photo of a hail stone taken in the Powell area of southern Marshall County. It was as large as a baseball.
