OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A published report says three men who have come under suspicion in the fatal shootings of two Weleetka girls testified before the multicounty grand jury.

The Oklahoman reported in a copyright story that 30-year-old Tony Kelough, 19-year-old Mike Gaddy and 18-year-old Dustyn Dailey appeared yesterday before the secret panel.

The newspaper spoke to Kelough, who said he had nothing to do with June 8th fatal shootings of 11-year-old Skyla Whitaker and 13-year-old Taylor Paschal-Placker.

Their bullet-riddled bodies were found on an isolated Okfuskee County road not far from where one of the girls lived.

The paper also spoke with the parents of Gaddy, who say their son was at a friend's house and heard the fatal shooting but didn't witness it. They also said their son has been the victim of vigilanteism.

Dailey declined to speak to The Oklahoman after two hours of testimony. The newspaper said he is jailed in Okmulgee County and appeared before jurors in jail clothes and shackles.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agent Ben Rosser also appeared, but he declined to confirm what he said because grand jury proceedings are secret.

sounds like they need to be writing for a comic book, their sad attempt at sensationalizing on a story such as this makes no sense, even if it is a wire story. i think KXii could have used a little discretion and edit the unessesary gore details of a young child so in the future kxii could you please show a little more respect and compasion for the deceased and their families and 95% of your readers and watchers and cut some of the spin from these types of stories. i think most of us will appreciate it. thank you, please respond. Again, KXII did not write this story. It is from a newspaper. The staff understands your concerns, but news outlets generally do not edit wire stories. Thanks, Staff

I would like to thank KXII for sharing any and all stories that concern my area. They put "Information from: The Oklahoman" for a reason. I respect their writers and they serve our community well. Tacky comments help no one!

If you remember the same description was given the day and in the days immediately following the murders. Not only were the murders senseless, but the description shows whoever did it may be a little unhinged to say the least. It just smacks of someone who does not have a good handle on reality and did the deed just like shooting a target in a video game. I am still deeply disturbed by their deaths. They should have been perfectly safe walking around in that rural area.

I too agree with Fozzy, Concerned and I agree.............PLEASE, if it were your child how would you feel. Come on, KXII. You can do better. It's a wire story from a newspaper - not KXII. Please read below the story. -Staff

I have agree with Fozzy. "Bullet-riddled" is far too descriptional and smacks of sensationalism. I feel awful for the those related to these poor girls to have to read things like this. Shame on the reporter/writer and his/her editor for letting this pass. Maybe they are former employees of The Enquirer.

Why was is necessary to point the bullet riddled fact out. Dont people realize these childrens families read the news? I guess this falls into the "unless it happens to you" categories. My prayers are with the girls families and friends.

Is the writer of this story a complete idiot? Was it really necessary these little girl's bodies as "bullet-riddled"? I'm not sure how the writer or even the editor of the paper can sleep at night... cockroaches have better sense.
