Denison Man Kidnapped at Convenience Store

05-12-06 - A 28-year-old Denison man was kidnapped at a local convenience store early Friday morning.

Denison Police say the victim was coming out of the Passport Store on South Austin Street around 12 a.m. when a man in the parking lot threatened him and demanded he drive him to Dallas. The victim stopped at the truck stop in Anna, and the suspect went in with him and when they came back out, the suspect demanded he drive, causing the victim to bail out of the car.

Police caught up with the 43-year-old suspect in Richardson. He will be charged with aggravated kidnapping.
