5-14-06 – The FAA has been called in to investigate a plane crash in Lamar County on Sunday. The small plane, a single-engine Piper Cub plane, went down in a wheat field just southeast of Paris – near Highway 271.
A father and daughter were on board, though it’s not clear who was piloting the plane.
A private citizen called the sheriffs office for help around 4 p.m. The two people on board walked away from the crash. One person was hospitalized with minor injuries.
