An Ardmore High School teacher suspended earlier this week for using a racial slur in his classroom will not be fired. Friday, school officials said he will be back in the classroom next week.
The teacher was sent home Tuesday after a verbal argument with a group of African-American students. The school admitted the teacher used the "N" word, while admonishing students not to use the word.
The students claim the teacher kept repeating the word.
Friday, school officials announced they could find no reason to discipline the teacher. He'll be back in class on Tuesday. .
