Warrants Issued in Durant Animal Cruelty Case

06-02-06 - Two people are facing animal cruelty charges in Durant after police say they neglected, and then abandoned two dogs.

After receiving several complaints, police went to the apartment complex at 1224 North 2nd Street where they found a sick boxer puppy and another dog tied up inside; both living in poor conditions. But when the suspects learned about the investigation they admitted to dumping the dogs in another location.

Arrest warrants have been issued for Jason Templeton and Stephanie Dubose of Durant.
