UPDATE: 3 people confirmed dead in Lamar County plane crash

LAMAR COUNTY, TX -- Three men are dead after a plane crash in near Glory, Texas, Saturday morning. Nicolette Schleisman was at the scene all afternoon.

We have just learned the names of the men killed. According to a Press Release from Celtic Bank, out of Salt Lake City, says Michael Bradley, Mike Endo, and pilot Rob Thompson were the men on board.

According to the bank, the men were associated with the company.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says the plane went down around 9:30 Saturday morning off County Road 13850.

Not a lot of other information is being released at this time.

But we were able to speak with one of the first firefighters on the scene and a man who says he saw the plane go down.

"I just looked over and it was nose down just spinning. And when I got to it, It hit the ground and burst into flames."

Christopher Brazal's grandparents own the land off County Road 13850 near Glory, Texas where Texas DPS troopers say a small aircraft crashed Saturday morning.

"It was a Piper Meridian out of Salt Lake City, Utah," said Trooper Mark Tackett.

That plane, carried three men: two passengers and the plane's pilot.

Eddie Simmons says he was the first firefighter on scene.

"I tried to put out as much fire as I could. The fuel tanks done exploded and all the fuel was on fire and all the inside of the plane was on fire," said Simmons.

Simmons has been a firefighter for more than 30 years. He says this is one of the worst plane crashes he has ever seen.

"It's its real bad. That's all I can say. I've seen some like it, but not where the plane had been on fire. And it, I don't want to re-live it," said Simmons.

Brazal agrees. "It's the first time I've ever seen anything like that," said Brazal.

"My heart goes out to the families. That's the main thing, because I've been through so much of stuff like this myself. And I hope the family never sees anything like this. And I don't know what to say to the family other than I am so sorry for their loss," said Simmons.
