Ardmore Attorney Arrested for Drugs

6-12-06 - Police arrested an Ardmore attorney and his wife at their home Monday on charges of cultivation of marijuana. Police say they found 14 plants at the home of John and Vicky Otey in the 700 block of Q Street.

Ardmore police and agents from the drug task force and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics said they found the plants in three different areas of the house.

OBN spokesman Mark Woodward says marijuana pipes and weapons
were also taken.

The Otey's were booked on complaints of cultivation of marijuana
and possession of drug paraphernalia and are now free on bail.
