OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An Oklahoma County judge sentences a self-proclaimed white supremacist to four consecutive terms of life in prison today for the death of an Edmond man.
Darrell Lynn Madden spent about 30 minutes talking to the brother of victim Steven Domer before pleading guilty to first-degree murder and kidnapping charges in connection with Domer's October 27th death.
Authorities says the 38-year-old Madden and Bradley Qualls abducted Domer as part of a plot to kidnap a gay man. The pair met the 62-year-old Domer in a northwest Oklahoma City neighborhood frequented by gay people, subdued him and then imprisoned in his car for hours.
After traveling to Ardmore and Texas, authorities say the pair strangled Domer with a wire coat hanger and bound him with duct tape.
His body was found in a McClain County creek and his car was set on fire.
Authorities say Madden later killed Qualls to keep him from talking about the crime. Madden also serving a life term for that crime.
