SHERMAN, Tex. -- Two motorcycles collided in Sherman Friday afternoon.

One motorcycle was headed north on FM 1417, and the other was traveling east on Washington. The accident happened around 1:00 p.m.

Authorities say the man headed north failed to stop at the stoplight and hit the other motorcyclist. He then lost control of his motorcycle and traveled 200 hundred yards before finally crashing.

Both men were conscious after the collision. The man headed north was taken to Wilson N. Jones Medical Center with minor injuries.
