Two upper level waves will interact with a warm and very moist air mass to generate thunderstorms through Saturday. Lightning and torrential rainfall that could cause flash flooding are the primary threats...with a secondary threat of damaging winds. Turn around, don't drown!
7-13-06 A Grayson County home under construction was hit by copper thieves Wednesday night.
Police say $1300 worth of copper was stolen from the foundation lining. The construction company that's working on the home was set to pour concrete over the copper this morning, but now that's been put on hold.
Builders say it will cost anywhere from $3,000 to $4,000 to replace the copper because they'll have to haul the loads in from somewhere else, and that costs extra money and also takes more time.
