7-17-06 – The search for a missing Marshall County woman is over. The 70-year-old woman walked out of a heavily wooded area just before noon on Monday, nearly 24 hours after she disappeared.
Toyokay Tate had told her son on Sunday afternoon that she wasn't feeling well. When he arrived at her Oak View Estates home, her car was still at the home, but the woman was gone.
Search and Rescue crews from across the area searched on the ground and from the air last night and through Monday morning.
Authorities aren't sure why the woman wandered off or how she survived. She is suffering from exposure and diabetic shock, but they expect her to recover. First News will have a full report on First News at 5 & 6.
