WINDOM, TX -- A reward is being offered to catch some vandals in a small Fannin County town.

Police say sometime Friday night or Saturday morning vandals destroyed Christmas decorations and painted graffiti at the park in Windom.

The damage is estimated to be around $2,000, and the city is offering $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest.

"We’ve been decorating every year, but this year we were especially proud of it because the ladies had worked so hard to make it pretty," said Windom City Mayor Don Simmons.

If you have any information regarding this incident you can contact the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office at 903-583-2143.
