08-22-06 - The city of Lone Grove is trying to cut down on water use to keep up with the high demand.
Starting Thursday, August 24th, folks will only be allowed to water between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
Residents who live on the north or west side of the street, can only water their yard on even days. Those who live on the south and east can water on odd days.
The city manager says these restrictions will be in place until the town gets a significant amount of rainfall, which could be well into the fall. After the first warning, violators face a $25 ticket.
