8-30-06 - A man who claimed he shot a woman in self-defense is now charged with murder. Jeffrey Tyler shot 42-year-old Kimberly Bradford in July at his home on McClean Street in Bryan County.
Tyler suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach and actually made the 911 call on July 13.
But investigators didn't buy his excuse of self-defense. They've charged the 35-year-old with murder and set his bond at $4 million. As of 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, the Bryan County D.A.'s office said they would release more information on Thursday.
