9-20-06 - A Denison woman is in critical condition after her car rolled off the Denison Dam on Wednesday afternoon at 3:15. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol told First News that 88-year-old Nina Green was soundbound on Hwy 91 when she hit the guardrail on her right, overcorrected, and crashed through the guardrail on the east side of the road.
Her 1997 Ford sedan plunged down the dry side of the dam, rolling at least three times.
She was taken by ambulance to the Texoma Medical Center with head, arm, trunk external and trunk internal injuries. Troopers suspect a medical condition may have led to the accident.
