SOUTHMAYD, TX -- Grayson County Sheriff's deputies are searching for a robbery suspect Thursday night. Investigators say the robbery happened at the Country Food Store in Southmayd around 8:10 p.m.
Deputies say a white man in his early 20's entered the store at Highways 56 and 289, showed a weapon and stole $500 dollars from the register.
They say he ran out of the store, toward the back of the property. Deputies say Sherman Police have brought in their K-9 Officer and the search is underway.
"He pulled the gun on my dad, went inside and said give me all the money and took the money," said Sunny Singh, son of the store owner.
If you have any information, call the Grayson County Sheriff's Office.
