BRYAN COUNTY, OK― After the Bennington, Oklahoma, Board of Trustees race ended in a tie last week, the final decision was left up to lady luck. Barbara Robbins won the position in a draw.

Robbins and her opponent, Sheila Moss, each received 12 votes in last week's election, so both of their names were put into a red gift bag and a Bryan County Election Board member drew out Robbins' name.

The new Board of Trustees member says she is glad the suspense is over so she can get to work.

Robbins and Moss say they hope this will encourage people to get out and vote during city elections.
