A Love County man convicted for the shooting of a 12-year-old boy knows his fate.
A judge sentenced Rickey Rawlins senior to one year in the Love County Jail plus another 131 days, which he has already served.
This comes after a jury found him guilty of one count of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of reckless conduct with a firearm back in September.
Last spring, deputies say Rawlins and his two sons opened fire on a pickup. Jacob Ayers was hit in the head.
As for Jacob, he's still recovering from his wound.
Cases against Rickey Rawlins Jr. and Kenneth Rawlins are still pending.
